Our Youth
The Youth Ministry of First United Methodist Garland offers a dynamic and inclusive Christian community where we cultivate a deep love for God, actively live out our faith, serve our local and global neighbors, and inspire hope for a world in need.
Our goals include helping teens:
- to grow spiritually in a safe space
- to explore their faith and learn to live it out daily
- to engage in service projects in the local community and beyond, building a compassionate, supportive community and inspiring hope for the future
Our vision:
- to create a generation of young Christian disciples deeply rooted in their Methodist heritage, confidently living out their faith in their schools, families, and communities
- to grow into compassionate leaders, equipped with a strong moral foundation and a passion for social justice, who will carry the church's mission of peace and love into the future.
