Pastor Jeff’s passion in ministry is to help individuals and churches to realize their goals through healthy practices in decision-making and active learning. 

“I am very excited to be working together with the dedicated members at First United Methodist Garland to heal, learn, and grow into the church God envisions," he says.

He previously served at First UMC Mount Vernon, First UMC Mesa (Arizona), and First UMC Stonebridge.

He has also served beyond the local church as University Chaplain at McMurry University  in Abilene, New Mexico Annual Conference Provost, and Albuquerque District Superintendent. 

A graduate of McMurry University (B.A.) and Duke Divinity School (M.Div. and Th.M.), Pastor Jeff has also held leadership roles on the Board of Ordained Ministry and the Texas Methodist Foundation Board, and has served as a delegate to General Conference.
